The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Braddock stuffs the takedown.
Braddock works Figaro's body with a nice hook.
Braddock lands a right hook to the body.
Figaro shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Figaro showed some decent athleticism there.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Figaro in particular looking to stall.
Braddock is looking to improve his position.
Still in half guard, Figaro seems content to control.
Figaro looks to score some points with some ground and pound.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Sabin Figaro wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Figaro fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Figaro shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Braddock as he avoids it easily.

Braddock misses with a wild body shot.
Figaro slips a straight right by Braddock.
Figaro bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Braddock is trying to improve his position.
Braddock wants to get back to his feet but Figaro drags him back down.
Figaro is working Braddock over with some ground and pound from side control.
Figaro stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Josh Braddock is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Figaro takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Figaro bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Nice takedown defense from Braddock. No joy for Figaro on that attempt.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Braddock enables Figaro to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Braddock manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Figaro is in close to Braddock's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Figaro with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Figaro scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Figaro prevents Braddock from getting back to his feet.

Figaro works over Braddock with some ground and pound from guard.
Braddock is rocked!
Figaro loads up on a big left hand. Braddock felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Figaro looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Braddock can't hide his disappointment, as Figaro celebrates the victory.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Sabin Figaro!
