Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Adam McGee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Patricky Freire (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Freire has chosen Ladies and Gentlemen as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Patricky Freire has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Adam McGee's chin.

The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Tiny Johnson and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGee throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
McGee throws a quick inside leg kick.
McGee defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Freire.
Freire shoots in for a double leg but McGee sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
McGee clinches.
McGee breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Freire throws a left and a right that both miss
and McGee counters by moving into the clinch.
McGee slows down the pace here.
Freire throws an elbow but it misses.
Freire manages to pull guard.
Freire is pulling down on McGee's head to control his posture.
McGee has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
McGee in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

McGee throws a big right hand that misses.

McGee decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
McGee fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Freire to the ground. McGee is now in Freire's guard.
Freire striking off his back but it's not causing McGee any problems.
Freire is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Freire is stalling here.
Freire looking to throw knees to the head but McGee is blocking nicely.

McGee stops a takedown attempt from Freire.
Adam McGee has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Patricky Freire.
McGee is pressed up against the cage. Freire has hold of a leg and is looking to drag McGee down to the mat. McGee avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
An inside leg kick lands from McGee.

and McGee counters with a one-two to the body.
Patricky Freire seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Freire tries to clinch but McGee moves out of range.
McGee has Freire up against the cage in a clinch.
Freire's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

McGee throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Freire blocks it with crossed arms.

A frustrated look appears on Freire's face as he tries to break the clinch.
McGee is trying to break the clinch but Freire has him pressed against the cage.
McGee changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Freire fights it off and pushes away nicely.
McGee is breathing heavily.
McGee takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Nice defenses there by Freire.
Freire shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says McGee as he avoids it easily.
McGee on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Freire takes the fight into the clinch.
McGee tries to pull guard but Freire forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Adam McGee will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Freire tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
McGee lands a jab-cross combination.
McGee closes the distance and pushes Freire back into the cage.
McGee lands a left hand that snaps the head of Freire backwards.
Freire prevents a body shot from McGee.
McGee jumps into guard, dragging Freire to the mat.
McGee knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Freire on the ground.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Freire is working McGee over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
McGee throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
McGee wants to sweep but no luck.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
McGee isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Freire stacks McGee on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Freire!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
A lull in the action here.

Freire has an Americana. McGee didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Freire is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Freire hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
