Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jim Carlo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Kimmo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kimmo is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Roni Size-Bite The Bullet. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Winston Howard and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kimmo looks to land a right hand but Carlo moved out of range.
Carlo manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Kimmo on his heels. He'll look to pass Kimmo's guard now, I'm sure.
Carlo slips nicely into half guard.
Carlo is trying to control. Kimmo wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Kimmo tries to close the distance and clinch up but Carlo swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Kimmo is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Carlo is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Kimmo's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Kimmo's back!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Kimmo defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Carlo's arms.
Kimmo is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Carlo off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted.

Carlo has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Kimmo has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Carlo is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Kimmo is defending well though. Carlo let's go of the attempt for now.
Carlo has Kimmo flattened out and is raining down punches.

Kimmo manages to reverse the position and now he's in Carlo's guard. Nice work there by Kimmo.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Kimmo thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Carlo's head.
Kimmo wants to stand up but Carlo is controlling the position.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That was a close second round but I would say that Jim Carlo will probably get the nod.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Carlo misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Kimmo bucks up and throws Carlo to the side - he's got back to his feet. Great escape!

Kimmo tries to clinch up but Carlo circles away and keeps his distance.

Carlo gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Kimmo counters with a head kick. That will keep Carlo thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

Kimmo tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Carlo was well out of range. Poor timing from Kimmo.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Carlo, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
