Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alberto Daniels (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nakki Makkara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Daniels comes to the cage accompanied by Bad to the Bone. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Alberto Daniels!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Nakki Makkara!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Damien Edna and John Mangel.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Daniels takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Makkara keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Daniels misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Makkara.
Makkara changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Makkara works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Daniels tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Makkara was well out of range. Poor timing from Daniels.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Nakki Makkara is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Daniels has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Daniels thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Makkara has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Daniels is working away from the top position though.

Daniels lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Makkara quite badly. Makkara pulls Daniels in close trying to recover. Daniels postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Makkara on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Makkara doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
