Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Everest Narnon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carlos Eduardo Carneiro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Carneiro's choice of entrance music: Ai se eu te pego. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Carneiro closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Carneiro has had enough of the clinch but Narnon keeps him there for the moment. Narnon displaying some good clinch control by pressing Carneiro up against the cage. Carneiro is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Narnon gets a trip takedown into half guard. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Carneiro moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Carneiro looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Carneiro has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Narnon is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Carneiro. Narnon stands up and we're back to a striking position. This has been an exciting period of action! Carneiro tries to grapple but his opponent circles so Narnon counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Narnon got a little sloppy there for a moment and Carneiro has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Narnon has managed to get both his arms back between Carneiro's legs - danger averted. Narnon knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Carneiro on the ground.
That's one minute gone in the round. Carneiro keeping moving, preventing Narnon from controlling successfully. Narnon is sitting in close to Carneiro's body. Carneiro has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Narnon is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Narnon is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Carneiro.
