The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Carneiro closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Carneiro has had enough of the clinch but Narnon keeps him there for the moment.

Carneiro is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Narnon gets a trip takedown into half guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Carneiro moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Carneiro has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Narnon is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Carneiro.

Narnon stands up and we're back to a striking position.

so Narnon counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Narnon got a little sloppy there for a moment and Carneiro has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Narnon has managed to get both his arms back between Carneiro's legs - danger averted.
Narnon knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Carneiro on the ground.
