Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between PiotruS Jedrzejewski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stefan Ivanovich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Stefan Ivanovich! The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Vladimir Khabensky and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jedrzejewski takes the fight into the clinch. Ivanovich looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Jedrzejewski looking for a takedown. Jedrzejewski is working for takedown but Ivanovich is calmly controlling the position for now. Jedrzejewski breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Jedrzejewski decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Jedrzejewski is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Jedrzejewski knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Ivanovich on the ground. Jedrzejewski thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Jedrzejewski wants to pass to mount but Ivanovich is defending the position. Ivanovich is looking for a sweep. Jedrzejewski is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Jedrzejewski takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jedrzejewski decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet. Jedrzejewski stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jedrzejewski scores with a takedown into Ivanovich's guard. Jedrzejewski is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Jedrzejewski is in close to Ivanovich's body, working some short punches and elbows. Ivanovich avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Jedrzejewski sitting in guard here, content to control. Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Jedrzejewski lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Jedrzejewski lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Ivanovich backs up against the cage.
Ivanovich gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Jedrzejewski counters with a good low kick that Ivanovich was not able to check. Jedrzejewski drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Jedrzejewski pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Ivanovich is keeping the position for now. Excellent takedown into side control there by Jedrzejewski. You can see the frustration on Ivanovich's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Jedrzejewski wants to control but Ivanovich is keeping him busy. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jedrzejewski is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. Ivanovich avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Jedrzejewski. Jedrzejewski decides to stand back up. Jedrzejewski steps back and let's Ivanovich get back to his feet. Jedrzejewski shoots in for a takedown and gets it. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Jedrzejewski is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

PiotruS Jedrzejewski overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Jedrzejewski perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jedrzejewski is trying to control the action in half guard but Ivanovich is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Jedrzejewski is stalling here. Ivanovich is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Jedrzejewski seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Ivanovich has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work. Jedrzejewski is not content to let Ivanovich control the position. Jedrzejewski is looking to regain half guard here but Ivanovich keeps moving and retains side control. Ivanovich is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Jedrzejewski is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. You can see the frustration on Jedrzejewski's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Jedrzejewski is trying to get back to half guard. Jedrzejewski can't do much from the bottom here.

Jedrzejewski throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Ivanovich works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Jedrzejewski seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Jedrzejewski might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Jedrzejewski preventing the sweep.
