The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Drago dodges the punch combination from von Konkelberries.
Drago connects with a body shot.
von Konkelberries misses with a takedown attempt
and Drago counters with a stiff right hand.
It looks like Paul von Konkelberries has been cut.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
von Konkelberries throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
A shot to the liver by Drago. Beautiful body shot.
von Konkelberries looks gassed!
Drago throws a combination but it was largely blocked by von Konkelberries.
Drago throws a right hand that von Konkelberries ducks under and follows up with a left that von Konkelberries also avoids with ease.
Drago drops von Konkelberries with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but von Konkelberries looks back up at him and smiles so Drago waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
von Konkelberries is rocked!
Drago is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches von Konkelberries flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! von Konkelberries is out cold! Drago holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Ivan Drago!
