Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jordan Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Doe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Smith comes to the cage accompanied by In Flames - Bullet Ride. Doe is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by whatsername, and does she remember my name?. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Frank Dennis and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Doe connects with a body shot.
Smith looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Doe is fending him off so far but Smith persists. Nope, Doe circles away and we're back to standing.
Doe has managed to clinch.

Doe works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Doe accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Smith working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Doe doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Doe manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Doe is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Doe. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Doe shoots in looking for a takedown. Smith tries to sprawl out of it but Doe keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Smith manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Doe lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Smith has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Smith and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Doe closes the distance and clinches up with Smith, looking for a takedown. Doe pushes Smith against the cage but Smith circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Doe steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Smith. That one must have hurt.
Smith tries to land a front kick but Doe steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Smith dives in and scores a takedown into Doe's guard.
Doe has his hands on Smith's head, controlling the position.
Smith advances to half guard.

Doe flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Doe lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Jon Doe comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Doe has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
