Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Josh Vendo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carlos Pesanioco Noguerio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Noguerio has chosen Moneytalks -ACDC as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Josh Vendo has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Josh Vendo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Carlos Pesanioco Noguerio! The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Thiago Cunha and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Vendo uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Noguerio. Some bone on bone action there as Vendo checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Noguerio moves into the clinch. Noguerio is trying to break the clinch but Vendo is controlling him. Noguerio is struggling to control the position. Vendo is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Noguerio pulls him back up using the underhooks. Noguerio lands a good knee to the midsection. Vendo won't want to take too many of those. Vendo is looking for a takedown. Vendo is looking for a takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Josh Vendo. That's going to take a lot out of him. Noguerio ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Noguerio no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Noguerio tries to land a sweep but no joy. Noguerio has his foot on Vendo's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Vendo works his way back into a safe position though. Vendo throwing strikes but missing. Noguerio trying to keep a closed guard but Vendo is proving a slippery customer.
That's one minute gone in the round. Noguerio wants to get back to his feet but Vendo is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Vendo postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Noguerio wriggles free and stands up. Carlos Pesanioco Noguerio seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Noguerio darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Noguerio moves nicely into side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Noguerio is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Vendo has escaped the position, nice work there. Vendo dodges the ground and pound from Noguerio. Noguerio wants to control for a moment but Vendo uses the opportunity to move back to half guard. Vendo is staying active underneath Noguerio, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Vendo blocking the ground and pound attempt from Noguerio. Noguerio throws a strike but Vendo manages to get a kimura sweep and he's found himself on top with the kimura half locked in! This would be a real turnaround! He's torquing it... Will Noguerio tap??? YES! He's tapped! This one is all over!
