Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Doug Harden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ron James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ron James has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
14 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Doug Harden! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ron James! The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, John Roberts and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! James just misses with a punch to the body.
Harden throws a jab when James was well out of range. James walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. James takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Harden fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
James misses with a takedown attempt - Harden sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. James slips under a jab. James thows a body shot but no joy. Harden scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Good exchange - James coming out on top. Harden clobbers James with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Harden lands with a shot to the body. James closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Harden to the mat! Harden manages to get full guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! James postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
That's one minute gone in the round. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as James accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. James looking to pass the guard. Harden has momentary wrist control but James slips an elbow through the middle. Harden controls James momentarily but James frees himself. James wants to pass the guard but Harden is keeping the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Harden is trying to keep James in close.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Harden looking to hit a scissor sweep but James is one step ahead there. James is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. James in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. James postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
That's three minutes gone in the round. James trying to control but Harden is working from the bottom. James throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Harden works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Harden trying to control the position.
James missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. James slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. An elbow from James crashes against the mat.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Harden wants to control but James postures up. James throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. James lands a nice forearm strike. James works to advance to full mount. Harden defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. James dominating with strikes here.
Harden is rocked!
It looks like Doug Harden has been cut. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Harden is bucking up trying to escape but James cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Oh Harden is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. James looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Harden covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ron James! Ron James decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
