Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Balla Troll (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rico Ramos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Rico Ramos was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Troll dives in and grabs Ramos's left leg, looking for a takedown. Ramos pushes down on Troll's head and hops out. Ramos scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Ramos with the ground and pound but Troll uses the opportunity to regain guard. Troll preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Ramos throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Ramos must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Ramos controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Ramos looking to sit in guard and control but Troll gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Troll wants to pass the guard but Ramos is keeping the position. Troll trying to control the position from guard on top but Ramos is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's one minute gone in the round. Troll stopping the sweep attempt from Ramos. Troll throws a big elbow that misses. Ramos is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Troll works over Ramos with some ground and pound from guard. Troll is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Ramos gets the takedown into side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Troll regains half guard there - taking advantage of Ramos's attempt to lay and pray for a moment. The fighters are battling for position here. Troll manages to regain full guard. Nice work. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Troll tries to land a sweep but no joy. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Troll keeping full guard, as Ramos tries to pass. Ramos looking to sit in guard and control but Troll gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Troll slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Troll stands and throws Ramos's legs to the side, diving into side control. Troll tries to move into full mount but can't pass Ramos's legs. Troll happy to just control the position for now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Troll trying to control the action but Ramos is working from the bottom. Troll in side control, just content to control the action for now. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Balla Troll. Ramos scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Ramos wants to control for a moment but Troll uses the opportunity to move back to half guard. Ramos stalling away here and it's allowed Troll to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Balla Troll will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Troll fails with the takedown. Troll tries for a takedown but Ramos sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Troll. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Balla Troll. That's going to take a lot out of him. Ramos closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Ramos lands in his opponent's guard. Ramos trying to control the position from guard on top but Troll is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Ramos looking to pass the guard. Ramos really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Troll. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ramos wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Troll's closed guard. He's half up but Troll has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Troll pivots and extends the arm, Ramos falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Troll! Well done that man!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:27 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Balla Troll! After the fight, Balla Troll was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
