The crowd seem to be enjoying Chavez's choice of entrance music: God's gonna cut you down Johnny Cash. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chavez changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Oppong looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Oppong keeps Chavez under control for a moment.
Oppong tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Oppong isn't going anywhere.
Chavez postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

Chavez throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Oppong sees it coming and avoids it easily.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Chavez lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Oppong lets his hands go wild with a nice combination. Left! Right! Uppercut! Spinning backfist! Chavez goes down and covers up as Oppong starts wailing on him! The ref watches the action closely before stepping in and putting a stop to the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:25 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Maxime Oppong!
During a confident post fight interview, Maxime Oppong thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
