Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Hercules Rockefeller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Teddy Parkinson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Hercules Rockefeller has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Hercules Rockefeller seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Teddy Parkinson! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Tiny Johnson and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rockefeller swats away the attempt to clinch by Parkinson. Rockefeller tries for a takedown but Parkinson sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Rockefeller shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Parkinson but Parkinson pushes him off and we're back to square one. Rockefeller fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hercules Rockefeller. That's going to take a lot out of him. Parkinson is looking to slow Rockefeller down with leg kicks. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Parkinson fails with an attempt to clinch.
Rockefeller looks for a takedown but Parkinson sprawls well. The crowd cheers as Parkinson lands an impressive looking overhand right. Rockefeller doesn't seem phased though. Rockefeller closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Rockefeller is looking for a kimura. He might have it! That's one minute gone in the round. Rockefeller trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Parkinson holds on and takes a little breather. Rockefeller slips nicely into half guard. Parkinson is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Rockefeller's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Rockefeller's back! Parkinson missing with punches from the back. Parkinson really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Rockefeller. Rockefeller rolls, trying to escape but Parkinson keeps control of the position.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Parkinson might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Rockefeller kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Despite being in the dominant position, Teddy Parkinson just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Rockefeller will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. The fight stays on the outside here - Parkinson looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rockefeller keeps the fight on the outside. Parkinson feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Rockefeller's calf. Rockefeller changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Parkinson tries to avoid it but Rockefeller manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Parkinson to the ground. Parkinson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Parkinson rushes Rockefeller and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Parkinson breaks the clinch.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Rockefeller regains half guard. Rockefeller is not content to let Parkinson control the position. Rockefeller is looking to control Parkinson's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Rockefeller avoid being mounted? Rockefeller is controlling Parkinson's trapped leg to prevent Parkinson from advancing to side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Rockefeller is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Parkinson pulls his head out easily. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Rockefeller closes this distance looking for a takedown but Parkinson circles away. Rockefeller shoots in looking for a takedown. Parkinson tries to sprawl out of it but Rockefeller keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Parkinson manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hercules Rockefeller. That's going to take a lot out of him. Parkinson lands a head kick. Rockefeller smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Rockefeller shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Parkinson as he jumps to the side. Parkinson fails with an attempt to clinch.

Hercules Rockefeller is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. A lazy left from Parkinson finds it's target. Rockefeller avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Parkinson tries to clinch up but Rockefeller circles away and keeps his distance. Parkinson stuffs the takedown attempt from Rockefeller. Rockefeller gets slowly back to his feet. He's managed it. Nice work. Rockefeller makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Rockefeller. Rockefeller looking for submissions from the bottom here. Parkinson wants to control from the top but Rockefeller keeps moving. Parkinson looking to pass the guard. Rockefeller bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Parkinson's guard. Parkinson is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
