Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Takeru Kyle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Rotten (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Kyle might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to I Like to Move It. Rotten comes into a darkened arena with his song building. White Zombie - More Human Than Human kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Tarja Halkonen and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rotten swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Rotten takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Johnny Rotten seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A looping hook to the body misses from Rotten. Kyle does a little dance to reset his feet.
Rotten blocks a head kick by Kyle.
Kyle ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Rotten moves away.
Rotten moves away from the strike by Kyle.

Rotten throws a body kick, spinning off balance
and Kyle connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Kyle slips under a jab.
Rotten fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Kyle misses the shot to the body.
Kyle shoots for a double leg takedown but Rotten sprawls well. He's pushed Kyle's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Rotten throws an overhand right that lands on Kyle's shoulder, as Kyle tries to avoid the shot.
Rotten gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Kyle throws an elbow that misses. Rotten uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Kyle's guard. Nice move by Rotten!
Rotten got a little sloppy there for a moment and Kyle has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Rotten has managed to get both his arms back between Kyle's legs - danger averted.
Rotten must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Rotten gets to his feet - Kyle follows without any prompting.
Rotten throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Rotten lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Rotten fails with an attempt to clinch.

A swing and a miss from Rotten.
Rotten lands a jab to Kyle's midsection.
Rotten rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Kyle counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Rotten tries to bum rush Kyle with a series of wild strikes but Kyle uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
A telegraphed right hand from Kyle misses the target.
Rotten has managed to clinch.
Rotten misses with an elbow over the top.
Rotten lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Rotten throws an elbow but it misses.
Kyle looking for a takedown.
Kyle breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Rotten tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kyle swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Kyle takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Kyle misses with an uppercut
and Kyle takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Rotten misses with a double jab.
Rotten fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kyle manages to avoid it.
Kyle gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Kyle checks a low kick from Rotten.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Kyle keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Rotten throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Rotten connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Kyle avoids a kick to the body.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Rotten bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Rotten scores with a push kick.
Rotten moves in looking to clinch but Kyle pushes him off.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Kyle's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Rotten works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Kyle closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Kyle is really struggling to control Rotten but he's trying to hold on to the position.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Kyle wants to control but Rotten is keeping him busy.

Kyle misses with a head shot. Rotten uses the momentum to regain guard.
Rotten throws his legs up looking for a submission but Kyle uses it to pass to side control.

Kyle wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Rotten, who protects the arm well.
Kyle misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Rotten is trying to control Kyle's posture but Kyle avoids it.

Kyle throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Rotten's waist but Rotten gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kyle off to one side.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
