Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between BJ Fenn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and bruce Assman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, BJ Fenn! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, bruce Assman! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Robert Twigg and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Assman connects with a looping right hand.
Assman throws a series of punches but Fenn avoids them all with ease. A big right from Assman misses. Fenn throws a right and a left that both miss. Assman throws a series of punches but Fenn moves out of range. The fight stays on the outside here - Assman looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Assman connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Fenn slips a jab from Assman. Fenn shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Assman but Assman pushes him off and we're back to square one. Jab, jab by Assman - just one landing. Left hook, right uppercut from Assman. Assman is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Fenn. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fenn keeps the fight on the outside. bruce Assman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Fenn!
Fenn just misses with a punch to the body.
Donk. Assman catches Fenn right on the button with a cross. Fenn walks into a jab. Assman connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. A left lands for Fenn.
That's one minute gone in the round. Assman moves in looking to clinch but Fenn pushes him off. Assman's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Assman duly obliges. Fenn tries to move into range but Assman moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Fenn closes this distance looking for a takedown but Assman circles away. Assman shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Fenn as he jumps to the side. Assman bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Fenn fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Assman manages to avoid it. Assman lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Assman misses with a right hand and Fenn counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Assman might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. Assman keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Assman scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Fenn shoots for a takedown but Assman saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for BJ Fenn. That's going to take a lot out of him. Fenn has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. The fighters circle momentarily. Assman darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Assman throws a lazy right hand but Fenn sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. The fight moves into the clinch position. Fenn ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Fenn no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Assman stopping the sweep attempt from Fenn. Assman wants to control from the top but Fenn keeps moving. Fenn bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Assman's guard. Fenn avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Assman not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Assman looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Fenn trying to control the position from guard on top but Assman is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Assman throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Assman keeping full guard, as Fenn tries to pass. Fenn trying to control but Assman is working from the bottom. Assman keeping busy on the bottom but Fenn has passed one foot through into half guard.
Assman looks gassed! Fenn is pressing down on Assman's thigh, looking to free his foot. Assman is holding on for now. Assman looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Fenn wants to lay and pray for a moment but Assman keeps working. Fenn is trying to work for a kimura but Assman is defending well.
Assman tries to get to full guard but Fenn has control of the leg.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Fenn takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Assman slips a jab and a cross from Fenn.
Assman misses with a takedown attempt - Fenn sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Fenn shoots in and bounces Assman off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Fenn avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that BJ Fenn will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Fenn moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Fenn ducks right into an uppercut from Assman. Assman with a nice cross. Assman throws out a powerful jab. Assman works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Fenn shoots in for a takedown but Assman shows good takedown defense. Assman scores with a nice right hand.
BJ Fenn is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Assman misses with a takedown attempt - Fenn sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Assman closes the distance and lands a one-two. Fenn throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Fenn misses with a looping left. Fenn looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Fenn loads up on a big right hand but Assman slips the punch. Assman connects with the punch. Fenn fails to land the takedown. Fenn misses with a wild combination.

That's one minute gone in the round. Fenn takes one on the button. Assman darts in trying to clinch and Fenn counters with a three punch combo that has Assman backing up. Assman nods at Fenn to acknowledge the strikes. Assman misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Assman throws a combination. Fenn tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Donk. Assman catches Fenn right on the button with a cross. Assman connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Assman tries to close the distance and clinch up but Fenn swats him away and circles back towards the center. A cross from Assman lands. The crowd cheers as Assman lands an impressive looking overhand right. Fenn doesn't seem phased though. Nice uppercut there from Assman. Assman uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Fenn has time to react. A punch lands to the side of Fenn 's head but he takes it in his stride. Assman lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Assman bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Fenn's head. Fenn closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fenn takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Assman fails with a takedown attempt. BJ Fenn has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of bruce Assman. Assman fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Fenn looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Assman lands a lovely overhand right. Assman paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Assman gets a takedown into half guard. Assman is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard. Assman looking to pass the guard. Assman trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Fenn manages to land a sweep and now he's on top! Assman wants to hit a switch here but Fenn passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Assman there!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Assman tries to hold on but Fenn postures up. Fenn throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. Fenn postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Assman looks a forlorn figure.
Assman tries to lock up and control but Fenn gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Assman keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Fenn throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Assman because Fenn loaded up on that one. Assman manages to regain half guard. Good work. Assman moves into full guard.
Assman is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Assman drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

bruce Assman showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

and Fenn counters with a leg kick. Assman looks to land a left hand but Fenn moved out of range nicely. Assman cracks Fenn with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Fenn misses with a wild combination.
A jab lands there for Assman. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Assman swings widly with a right hand

Assman throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Assman lands with a nice combination. Fenn backs away looking to recover. Fenn takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

Fenn stands up from Assman's guard - Fenn perhaps looking for a knockout. Assman scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.

Assman tries to clinch up and Fenn counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Assman scores with a jab to the head.
A swing and a miss from Fenn. Fenn connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Assman misses with a right hand and Fenn counters with a lovely straight right hand! Assman misses with a hook. Assman lands a really nice looking cross but Fenn seems unphased.

and Fenn counters with a left to the body. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Assman closes the distance and clinches. Fenn tries for a takedown. No joy.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Fenn has Assman pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Assman manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Assman has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Fenn uses from the top position. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Assman is on top in guard.

Assman wants to clinch but Fenn slips to the side and Fenn moves into the clinch. Assman tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Fenn smiles and moves away.
Assman closes the distance but Fenn moves to the side and Fenn counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Assman's guard now. Assman preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Assman looking for a guillotine here but Fenn defends easily.
Fenn postures up and lands a big shot to Assman's brow.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fenn trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Assman is looking for a triangle here but Fenn uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Fenn tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Assman is looking for a sweep. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Assman is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Fenn's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
And that's the end of the fight! BJ Fenn showed his dominance in that final round. I think Fenn has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
