Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Samiro Kahric (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ivan Jaki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kahric comes to the cage accompanied by B00M. Samiro Kahric has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Samiro Kahric!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ivan Jaki!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Gwen Towbar and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kahric gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Kahric tries to land a knee to the head but misses.

Kahric breaks the clinch.
Nice takedown defense from Kahric. No joy for Jaki on that attempt.
Kahric goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.

Jaki changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Kahric looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Jaki working the ground and pound but Kahric is defending the strikes.
Kahric tries to improve position but can't.
Kahric takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Kahric manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

Kahric looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.

Kahric looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Jaki landing small, sideways elbows.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Jaki can do anything to dispel that myth.

Kahric trying to control from half guard but Jaki is working away.
Jaki scores with a few weak punches.
Jaki is looking to improve his position.
Jaki is pressing down on Kahric's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Jaki wants to sweep here but Kahric controlling him for the moment.
Jaki doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Jaki throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Jaki looks gassed!

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Kahric thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Jaki pushes Kahric off and gets back to his feet.

Jaki decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Jaki working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Kahric wants to improve his position but Jaki is controlling well.
Jaki works his foot free and advances to mount.

Kahric is desperately trying to improve his position but Jaki has a good base and remains in mount.

Jaki is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Jaki throwing strikes here but Kahric is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Kahric is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Kahric sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
Kahric gets full guard.
Jaki stopping the sweep attempt from Kahric.

Kahric escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Jaki gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Kahric wants to sweep here but Jaki controlling him for the moment.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kahric has momentary wrist control but Jaki slips an elbow through the middle.
Jaki throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Kahric pulls Jaki in close to prevent any damage.
Jaki throws a strike but Kahric rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Kahric wants to stand but Jaki has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Jaki lands with a heel strike from the guard.
Jaki is striking but Kahric is not phased and passes to half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ivan Jaki dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Kahric fakes the leg kick and cracks Jaki in the body.
Jaki scores with a jab.
Jaki circles away from the clinch attempt.
Jaki lands with a nice body punch.
Kahric is looking to clinch.
Jaki lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Left hook, right uppercut from Jaki.


It looks like Samiro Kahric has been cut.

Jaki tries to keep at a distance but Kahric has taken the fight into the clinch.
Jaki changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Kahric fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Kahric clinches.

Kahric manages to break the clinch.
Jaki shoots in for a takedown but Kahric shows good takedown defense.
Kahric takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Kahric throws a head kick that half lands.
Jaki has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Kahric.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Kahric jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Nice combo by Jaki! Oh, that's hurt him - Kahric falls to the canvas and Jaki follows him into side control.


Kahric is rocked!
Jaki wants to lay and pray for a moment but Kahric keeps working.
Oh Kahric is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Kahric tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Jaki wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Kahric seems to have got his legs back now.
Jaki tries to move to mount but Kahric blocks the move with his legs.

Jaki throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Kahric keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Kahric stuffs the takedown attempt from Jaki. Jaki gets slowly back to his feet.
Samiro Kahric has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ivan Jaki.
Kahric keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Kahric tries to close the distance and clinch but Jaki swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Samiro Kahric is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Kahric gets the takedown into side control.

Kahric wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Jaki, who protects the arm well.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Jaki sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Jaki is looking for a sweep. Kahric is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Jaki tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
Kahric seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Kahric wants to control but Jaki is keeping him busy.
Kahric tries to stand but his arm is trapped.
Jaki is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Kahric jumps into side control!
Kahric tries to advance to mount but can't.
Kahric throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Kahric connects with a high kick.


It looks like Ivan Jaki has been cut.
Jaki avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Jaki with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Kahric to score with a decent uppercut.


Jaki is rocked!
Kahric chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Jaki sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
The fight stays on the outside here - Kahric looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Whack! Kahric lands a heavy head kick that drops Jaki. The ref tackles Kahric to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Jaki was done.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:17 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). Samiro Kahric!
