Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dwayne Carter Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bob Lee Swagger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Carter Jr comes to the cage accompanied by Rise Inside by Killswitch Engage. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, George Francis and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch combination from Swagger misses.
Swagger closes this distance looking for a takedown but Carter Jr circles away.
Swagger throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Carter Jr's waist but Carter Jr gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Swagger off to one side.
Carter Jr throws a sloppy head kick and Swagger moves out of range easily.
Swagger tries for a takedown but Carter Jr sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Dwayne Carter Jr has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bob Lee Swagger.

Carter Jr bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Swagger's guard.

That was a close round but I would say that Dwayne Carter Jr will probably get the nod.

Swagger is looking to defend but Carter Jr has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Swagger! Carter Jr pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Swagger taps out and this one is all over!
