The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ek shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Alexandru as he avoids it easily.

Alexandru closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Ek did well to prevent Alexandru getting side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ek wants to get back to full guard.
Ek manages to get to full guard.

Ek has his foot on Alexandru's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Alexandru works his way back into a safe position though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Alexandru cracks Ek with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Alexandru immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Ek is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Alexandru!
