The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zappa has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Mann.
Mann connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
It looks like Frank Zappa has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Mann lands with a nice combination. Zappa backs away looking to recover.
Mann connects with a body shot that sends Zappa's belly button to the back.
Zappa is breathing heavily.
Mann throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Mann misses with a few strikes there.
Mann lands a left and a right that send Zappa crashing to the mat, dazed. Mann thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Zappa leaves his chin hanging out and Mann seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Zappa crumbles to the floor in a heap! The referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Marlboro Mann!
Marlboro Mann decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
