Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Stewart Dunkirk and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zalac tries to clinch but Spend moves out of range.
Zalac fails with a takedown attempt.
Spend throws a leg kick which misses Zalac's front leg but catches the back leg as Zalac tries to avoid it.
Zalac takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Zalac throws a front kick aimed at Spend's knee but Spend avoids it well.
Spend drives through with a takedown into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Spend controls from within his opponent's guard.
Spend throwing strikes from guard but Zalac blocks nicely.
Spend looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Zalac is trying to control the position but Spend postures up.
Zalac looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Zalac closes the distance and clinches up with Spend, looking for a takedown. Zalac pushes Spend against the cage but Spend circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Spend feints and as Zalac raises his hands in defense, Spend changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Spend wants to control from the top but Zalac keeps moving.
Spend must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Spend is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Zalac is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Spend defends well.
Spend trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Zalac utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Spend looking to sit in guard and control but Zalac gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Spend decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Zalac is bucking up trying to escape but Spend cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Spend throwing strikes here but Zalac is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.

Spend scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Zalac?

Spend thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Spend has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Zalac's face.
Spend trying to control but Zalac is having none of it.
Spend tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Spend lands a big shot there that rocks Zalac but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Spend postures up and lands a whopping elbow - oh that's hurt Zalac bigstyle! Two more strikes land for Spend and the fight is over!
