Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mike Hunt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Inya Face (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hunt kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is The Realest Sport. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Robert Twigg and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hunt fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Face throws a series of punches but Hunt avoids them all with ease.
Hunt staying out of range there.
Face pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Hunt fails with the takedown.
Hunt has his takedown stuffed
and Face counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

and Face counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Face throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Hunt lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Face backwards.
Hunt pulls guard effortlessly.
Face seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hunt wants to improve his position but instead Face has moved into half guard.

Face is taking a breather. Hunt says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Hunt wants to get back to his feet.
Face throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Inya Face wasn't active enough on the ground.
Hunt changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Face tries to avoid it but Hunt manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Face to the ground. Face escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Face throws a big shot that misses.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Hunt's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Hunt slips under a jab from Face.
Mike Hunt is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Hunt tries to clinch there but Face circles away.
Face works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Face misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Hunt.
Face will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

and Hunt decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Face's guard.
Hunt throws a strike but Face rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Hunt is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Hunt tries to score a power double leg takedown but Face sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Hunt somewhat.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Face throws a shot from downtown. Hunt moves away and avoids it.
Hunt slips a jab from Face.
Inya Face is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Face connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

Hunt fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

Hunt is trying to pull guard but Face turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Face pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Face throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

and Hunt counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Hunt avoids a punch combination nicely.

Inya Face showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Inya Face seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Hunt shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Face as he avoids it easily.
Hunt blocks a jab.

Face punishes Hunt's body with a nice straight punch.
Hunt shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Face as he jumps to the side.
Hunt shoots for a takedown but Face saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Face misses with a right hand
and Hunt holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Face's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Face misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Hunt decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Face's guard.

Hunt stops Face from standing up.
Face has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Hunt off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hunt shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Face but Face pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Nice defenses there by Hunt.
Mike Hunt has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
