Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Woima Karhu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bolo Crow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Woima Karhu! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
15 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Bolo Crow! The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Anni Minnemäki and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Karhu shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Crow defends it nicely. Crow is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Karhu throws a leg kick and Crow counters with a lovely straight right hand!
It looks like Woima Karhu has been cut. Karhu changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Crow tries to avoid it but Karhu manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Crow to the ground. Crow escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Karhu shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Crow as he jumps to the side. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Woima Karhu. That's going to take a lot out of him. Crow checks a low kick from Karhu. Crow throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Karhu keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Karhu throws a low kick, looking for Crow's leg but Crow calmly moves out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round. Karhu fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Crow misses the jab. Nice takedown defense from Crow. No joy for Karhu on that attempt. Crow scores with a hook to the body. Karhu takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Horrible takedown by Karhu or perhaps it was just good defense by Crow which made him look bad. Karhu misses with a low kick. Crow misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Karhu is looking to clinch but Crow is avoiding it.

Crow displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Karhu. Karhu looks for the body kick but Crow saw that one coming. Karhu closes the distance but Crow moves to the side and Crow counters with a slapping leg kick. Karhu wants to slow Crow down by chopping away at his legs. Karhu throws a leg kick that is checked and Crow counters with a head kick that drops Karhu to the mat! Karhu scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Karhu throws a leg kick and Crow counters with a nice kick to the body. Karhu fails with a takedown attempt. Crow thows a body shot but no joy. Karhu throws a low kick, looking for Crow's leg but Crow calmly moves out of range. Karhu misses with a takedown attempt - Crow sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Woima Karhu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Karhu displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Crow throws out the jab. Karhu throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Karhu tries to clinch up. Karhu tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Crow manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Karhu shoots and misses letting Crow counter with a right hand. Crow connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Karhu rushes Crow and presses him up against the cage. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Crow is working Karhu over against the cage. Karhu wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Crow lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Crow tries to work over Karhu's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Crow tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Karhu's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Karhu. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bolo Crow dominated that round. The cut man is working on Woima Karhu's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Crow darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Karhu takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Crow misses with the combination.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Karhu. Karhu looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. A good leg kick by Karhu. Karhu with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
That's one minute gone in the round. Crow swings for the body but Karhu moves out of range.
Crow stuffs the takedown attempt from Karhu. Karhu gets slowly back to his feet. Karhu looks for a takedown but Crow sprawls well. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Woima Karhu. That's going to take a lot out of him. Karhu scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Karhu is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Crow has managed to free his arm - good work. Crow is controlling Karhu's trapped leg to prevent Karhu from advancing to side control. Karhu is looking for a kimura here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Karhu seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Crow does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Karhu misses with a head shot. Crow uses the momentum to regain guard. Crow keeping moving, preventing Karhu from controlling successfully. Karhu showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Karhu lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Crow pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Karhu shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Crow pinned against the cage. Crow gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Karhu tries a low kick but Crow avoids it. A head kick by Crow misses and Karhu counters with a good low kick that Crow was not able to check. Crow checks a leg kick. Karhu closes this distance looking for a takedown but Crow circles away. Crow connects with a high kick. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. A big left from Crow misses. Crow tries to clinch up but Karhu circles away and keeps his distance. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Woima Karhu will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Woima Karhu's cut. That's time! Karhu's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Karhu shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Crow but Crow pushes him off and we're back to square one. Karhu fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Crow has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Bolo Crow seems to be getting the better of the standup. Karhu throws a body kick, spinning off balance enabling Crow to counter with a crisp jab.
Woima Karhu's cut is getting worse. Karhu moves out of range as Crow throws a body kick.
Crow tries to sprawl but Karhu drives through with a takedown into half guard. Karhu is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Crow sees it coming and defends easily. Karhu is looking for a kimura but Crow is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Karhu to get the leverage. Karhu is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Crow has managed to free his arm - good work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Karhu missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Crow tries to get to full guard but Karhu has control of the leg. Crow works his way to full guard. Good work. Crow wants to stand and escape but Karhu is having none of it. Karhu looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Crow keeping moving, preventing Karhu from controlling successfully.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Woima Karhu wasn't doing enough on the ground. Crow throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Crow circles away from the clinch attempt.
Crow misses with a wild body shot.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Crow lands with an uppercut that bounces Karhu off the cage and back into range. Karhu changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Crow tries to avoid it but Karhu manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Crow to the ground. Crow escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Karhu lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Bolo Crow is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Crow throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Crow cracks Karhu with an open hand slap. An inside leg kick from Karhu misses. Crow rushes Karhu and presses him up against the cage. Crow is trying to stall.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Crow goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Crow tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Karhu missing with knees to the body.
Karhu tries to score a body lock takedown but Crow shows good agility there to stay on his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Woima Karhu. That's going to take a lot out of him. Karhu wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Karhu is looking to break free of the clinch but Crow has double underhooks. Crow throws a punch but it's blocked by Karhu. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Crow lands with a light punch inside. Karhu is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Crow misses with a body punch.
Crow lands with a short head shot on the inside. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. A hook to the body from Crow.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. Crow managing to block the knees to the body from Karhu.

A close third round but Bolo Crow just about did enough to take it. The cut man is working on Woima Karhu's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
The crowd cheers as Crow lands an impressive looking overhand right. Karhu doesn't seem phased though. Crow goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Karhu is rocked! Karhu lands a leg kick that knocks Crow off balance momentarily. Karhu walks into a straight right hand from Crow. Oh Karhu is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Woima Karhu's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it. Crow stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Crow wants it to stay on the feet. Karhu looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Karhu seems to have got his legs back now. Karhu shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Crow sprawls well. Crow wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Karhu gets slowly back to his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Woima Karhu. That's going to take a lot out of him. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Crow tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Karhu shoots for a takedown but Crow saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Crow scores with a head kick. Karhu tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time. Karhu shoots for a double leg takedown but Crow sprawls well. He's pushed Karhu's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Karhu takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Jeez, Woima Karhu's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked. Crow swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Crow misses with a leg kick. Karhu throws out a leg kick but Crow moves out of range and Karhu only half commits. Karhu uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Crow.
Karhu fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Crow tries a head kick but it misses.
Crow circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Karhu drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Crow follows Karhu to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:56 of round 4, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bolo Crow! Bolo Crow retains his welterweight title! Bolo Crow decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
