Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Corey Cadile (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tony Sinclair (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Corey Cadile!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 11 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tony Sinclair!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Tiny Johnson and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cadile thows a body shot but no joy.
Cadile loads up on a big right hand but Sinclair slips the punch.
Corey Cadile seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sinclair fails with the takedown.
A shot to the body from Cadile misses

and Sinclair counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Sinclair.
Sinclair is working for takedown but Cadile is calmly controlling the position for now.
Cadile misses with a hook from the clinch.
Cadile throws a punch but it's blocked by Sinclair.
Cadile tries to throw a body punch but Sinclair avoids it by throwing Cadile back against the cage.

Cadile misses with the head strike.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Cadile.
Sinclair blocking some punches.
Sinclair tries to pull guard but Cadile forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Corey Cadile has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tony Sinclair.

Cadile throws a punch but it's blocked by Sinclair.

Come on Sinclair - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.

Cadile lands a body punch in the clinch.

Sinclair is looking for a takedown.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Cadile creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Sinclair changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Cadile fights it off and pushes away nicely.

The crowd cheers as Cadile lands an impressive looking overhand right. Sinclair doesn't seem phased though.

and Sinclair counters with a nice double leg into side control. Cadile won't be happy with that.

Sinclair sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Cadile is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.

Sinclair throws an elbow but Cadile slips to the side and avoids it well.
Cadile knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Sinclair on the ground.
Sinclair wants to lay and pray for a moment but Cadile keeps working.
Cadile parries the strikes from Sinclair easily there. Sinclair is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Cadile to escape.

Sinclair is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Cadile knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Cadile takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Sinclair looks up at the clock and then as Cadile takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Sinclair smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Sinclair thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Cadile takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Sinclair tries to score with some ground and pound. Cadile controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

It looks like Corey Cadile has been cut.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Cadile fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Sinclair manages to avoid it.

and Sinclair counters with a nice double leg into half guard.

Sinclair has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Cadile defend it? Sinclair steps over the head and cranks it - Cadile is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Sinclair!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:44 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Tony Sinclair!

An out of breath Tony Sinclair thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
