Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Frank Dennis and Tiny Johnson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cross shoots in but no luck this time.
Fleming swings and misses with a hook to the body.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Cross.
Fleming catches Cross with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Fleming has Cross up against the cage in a clinch.
Fleming tries to throw a body punch but Cross avoids it by throwing Fleming back against the cage.
Fleming scores with a nice hook to the head.
Fleming lands a left hand.
Cross takes a knee to the side of the body.
Cross looks gassed!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Fleming lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Fleming.

Fleming gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Cross regains guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Fleming stands up over Cross, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Fleming sitting in guard here, content to control.
Cross has momentary wrist control but Fleming slips an elbow through the middle.

Fleming is looking to work some ground and pound but Cross has wrist control.
Fleming landing with the ground and pound.
Fleming works over Cross with some ground and pound from guard.
Cross really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Fleming. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Fleming wants to pass the guard but Cross is keeping the position.
Cross can't keep his opponent in guard - Fleming advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Cross is not content to let Fleming control the position.
Fleming winds up and cracks Cross with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Fleming content to control rather than advance.
Fleming lands strikes from half guard.

Well, if Fleming is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Fleming has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
