Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Chris Downing and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Syrapudong walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Orakpo checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Syrapudong.
Orakpo looks to throw the jab but Syrapudong is out of range.
Orakpo shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Syrapudong is looking to get to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Orakpo cracks Syrapudong with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
It looks like Sudo Syrapudong has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Orakpo scoring with strikes but Syrapudong is staying in there.
Sudo Syrapudong's cut is getting worse.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Sudo Syrapudong's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

After winning the bout, Brian Orakpo thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
