Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Antonio Montazelli (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Flash Gordon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Flash Gordon has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Antonio Montazelli's chin.

The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Chris Downing and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gordon fails in his attempt to clinch.
Montazelli throws a low kick but Gordon avoids it.
Gordon tries to close the distance and clinch but Montazelli swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Gordon instigates a clinch.
Montazelli ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Montazelli no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Gordon wants to stand but Montazelli has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Montazelli looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Montazelli looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Gordon has picked Montazelli up and slammed him! Montazelli can't keep hold of the triangle and Gordon manages to pass to side control!
Montazelli is trying to work for a sweep but Gordon has mounted him!
Montazelli tries to hold on but Gordon pushes him away.
Montazelli tries to control Gordon's body but Gordon pushes him off. Montazelli squirms to his side and now Gordon has his back!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Montazelli tries to escape but Gordon has the hooks in and won't let him break free.
Gordon has good solid back control here.
You can see the frustration on Montazelli's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Montazelli breaks Gordon's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.

Montazelli throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Gordon tries to close the distance and clinch up but Montazelli swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Montazelli looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Gordon is fending him off so far but Montazelli persists. Nope, Gordon circles away and we're back to standing.

Montazelli throws a nice looking combination but Gordon bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Flash Gordon is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
