The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ortiz throws a predictable looking body shot
and Struker counters with a head kick that drops Ortiz to the mat! Ortiz scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!
Ortiz is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Struker uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Ortiz.
A lazy left from Ortiz finds it's target.
A combination from Ortiz does no damage.
Ortiz fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Struker manages to avoid it.
Ortiz seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Struker shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Ortiz is backing up but Struker catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Ortiz covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Struker Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tommy Struker!
