Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dogen Zenji (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Bison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dogen Zenji! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mike Bison! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Alan Glass and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Zenji shoots in but no luck this time. Zenji fails with an attempt to clinch.
Zenji fails miserably with a takedown attempt. A slapping leg kick lands for Zenji.

Zenji fails with a takedown attempt from distance. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dogen Zenji. That's going to take a lot out of him. Bison throws a nice looking combination but Zenji bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Zenji showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Bison.

Bison throws a series of punches but Zenji moves out of range. Zenji tries to clinch but Bison is having none of it. Zenji shoots in for a takedown but Bison shows good takedown defense. That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Zenji misses with a takedown attempt - Bison sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Zenji is breathing heavily. Bison tries to bum rush Zenji with a series of wild strikes but Zenji uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Zenji shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. A combination from Bison does no damage. Bison misses with a series of wild punches.
Bison throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Zenji. Dogen Zenji seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Horrible takedown by Zenji or perhaps it was just good defense by Bison which made him look bad. Bison tries to bum rush Zenji with a series of wild strikes but Zenji uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

and Zenji counters with a nice double leg into side control. Bison won't be happy with that. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bison trying to remain calm as Zenji controls from the top position. Bison wants to get back to his feet. Bison is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Zenji stands up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dogen Zenji dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Bison stalks Zenji and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Zenji's face. Zenji staggers backwards, shaken. Zenji avoids a punch combination nicely.
It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Zenji here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man. Zenji misses with a combination
and Bison counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Bison swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Zenji counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Zenji prevents Bison from getting back to his feet. Zenji gets to his feet - Bison follows without any prompting. Bison misses with a double jab
and Zenji counters with a body kick that stops Bison in his tracks momentarily. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Zenji drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Zenji postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Zenji controlling from the top position. Bison really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Zenji. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Zenji trying to control but Bison is working from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Zenji throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Bison works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Bison wants to get back to his feet but Zenji is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Zenji stands up and waves to Bison to follow him. Zenji closes this distance looking for a takedown but Bison circles away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dogen Zenji dominated that second round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Zenji changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bison tries to avoid it but Zenji manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bison to the ground. Bison escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Zenji slips a jab and a cross from Bison.

Bison should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Zenji wants to clinch. Zenji is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Bison throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Zenji shoots for a double leg takedown but Bison sprawls well. He's pushed Zenji's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Bison fails to land with a series of punches.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Zenji tries to close the distance and clinch up but Bison swats him away and circles back towards the center. Zenji tries to clinch up but Bison circles away and keeps his distance. Bison throws a one two combo.
