Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
15 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Doctor Ball! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Tony Twister! The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Steve Erwin and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Twister showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Ball.
Ball fails to land with a series of punches.
Twister misses the shot to the body. Ball fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Twister to the ground. Ball is now in Twister's guard. Ball advances position into side control! Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Ball tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Ball has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Twister is looking to reverse the position. Twister wants to control but Ball postures up. Twister is trying to improve his position. Twister keeping full guard, as Ball tries to pass. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ball forces his way into half guard. Ball trying to control the action but Twister is working from the bottom. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Ball passes the guard and advances to mount!
That's two minutes gone in the round. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Twister really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Ball wants to control the pace but Twister is squirming around nicely. Twister wants to hold on but Ball pushes him away. Ball scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Twister is wriggling around trying to escape.
Ball working for a guillotine from mount but Twister is in no mood to give up. Twister can't escape the position.
Ball with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Ball lands a heavy elbow. Ball jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Twister manages to avoid the submission attempt. Ball tries for a kimura but Twister is defending well. Ball working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Ball is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Twister is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Twister manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Twister wants to get back to full guard. Twister looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Ball wants to work for an arm triangle but Twister is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Twister with the active half guard here but Ball passes nicely into side control. This has been an exciting period of action! Ball trying to control the action but Twister is working from the bottom. Ball working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Twister is trying to control Ball's posture but Ball avoids it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Doctor Ball dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Ball will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Twister jabbing away but nothing is landing. Twister fails to land the takedown. Ball jabs Twister to the body, keeping him at a distance. Ball has managed to clinch.
Ball's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Ball scores a takedown into full mount! Twister really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Ball is working for a guillotine from mount but Twister frees his head quite easily.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Ball cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
That's one minute gone in the round. Ball tries to control but Twister wriggling away. Ball is in the full mount, landing strikes. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Twister taking shots to the head. Twister is wriggling around trying to escape.

Twister is still in real trouble! Can Ball finish him? A big strike lands for Ball! That's really hurt Twister and he's turned his back - Ball keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Ball jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Doctor Ball!
