The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gimmerson fails to land with a series of punches.
Gimmerson works over pain's head and body with a nice combination.
It looks like mister pain has been cut.
pain feints and as Gimmerson raises his hands in defense, pain changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
pain lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
pain pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Gimmerson is keeping the position for now.
pain working some strikes from top position.
pain postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
pain with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
pain postures up in Gimmerson's guard and throws a big left but Gimmerson blocks it.
pain postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

pain stops Gimmerson from standing up.

pain distracts Gimmerson with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
pain passes Gimmerson's left leg - he's now in half guard.
pain throws a strike but Gimmerson avoids it easily and moves to full guard.
pain landing with the ground and pound.
pain throwing strikes but missing.
Gimmerson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with pain. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Gimmerson trying to keep a closed guard but pain is proving a slippery customer.
pain chips away with some ground and pound.
Gimmerson is rocked!
pain loads up on a big left hand. Gimmerson felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - pain looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Gimmerson can't hide his disappointment, as pain celebrates the victory.
