Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between David Coleman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chuck Shamrock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shamrock has chosen Thunder strike as his entrance music. David Coleman looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, David Coleman! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Chuck Shamrock! The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, James Atkins and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Coleman shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Shamrock as he avoids it easily. Coleman looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Shamrock tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Coleman swivels and escapes. Coleman keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Shamrock lands a glancing blow to the side of Coleman's head. Shamrock closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Shamrock lands in his opponent's guard. Shamrock pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Coleman is keeping the position for now. Shamrock sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Coleman's guard. Shamrock is looking to advance position but Coleman won't allow it. Shamrock decides to stand and escape the position. Coleman gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Shamrock trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Shamrock stopping the sweep attempt from Coleman. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Shamrock tries to free his leg and advance position but Coleman is retaining full guard. Coleman is looking for a triangle but Shamrock pushes his legs off easily.
Coleman on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Coleman tries to get out of the position. Shamrock thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Coleman is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Coleman manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Coleman landing strikes, looking to finish! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Coleman can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Shamrock is looking to escape. Shamrock wants to hold on but Coleman pushes him away. Coleman is trying to take his opponent's back.
Coleman looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Shamrock is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Coleman controlling the pace for now. Coleman misses with a head shot. Shamrock has given up his back. Will we see Coleman going for some submissions?
I would not like to be Shamrock right now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Shamrock wants to get back to his feet. So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.
Shamrock turns into Coleman and is now in his guard.
Shamrock stands up and waves to Coleman to follow him. Shamrock drives through and clinches with Coleman against the cage.
Shamrock can't get the takedown.
David Coleman has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chuck Shamrock. Shamrock manages to pull guard.
Shamrock had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Coleman is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Shamrock Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Coleman's back instead. Shamrock working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage! Shamrock working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Shamrock working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Coleman doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Shamrock is tightening it up a little... Coleman has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Coleman reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Coleman taps out! nice BJJ there by Shamrock!
