Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Droagov Der Pate (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and me Mongo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Droagov Der Pate had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 267.5lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. me Mongo has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Droagov Der Pate's chin.

The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Igor Prikhodko and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mongo misses with a two punch combination.
Der Pate shoots in looking for a takedown. Mongo tries to sprawl out of it but Der Pate keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Mongo manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Oooooh!!! Mongo has knocked Der Pate down with a huge combo! Mongo steps away and waves a wobbly Der Pate back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Der Pate is rocked!
It looks like Droagov Der Pate has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Mongo misses with the combination.
Der Pate closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Mongo's guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Mongo keeping moving, preventing Der Pate from controlling successfully.

Der Pate decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Mongo dances in with a quick combination. Der Pate is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Mongo snaps Der Pate's head back. Der Pate stumbles backwards against the ropes. Mongo steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Der Pate's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Der Pate just didn't come prepared.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). me Mongo!
me Mongo gave a mention to SPARTA FIGHTWARE-GTI in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
