Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between John Duds (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Caio Pardo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pardo comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Move kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Caio Pardo is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, John Duds! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Caio Pardo! The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Edson Gomes and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pardo's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Pardo duly obliges. Pardo stalks Duds and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Duds's face. Duds staggers backwards, shaken. Duds swats away the attempt to clinch by Pardo. Pardo tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Duds thows a left - swing and a miss! Duds doesn't manage to clinch there - Pardo circles away.
Duds is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Pardo. Pardo tries to clinch up. Duds lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Duds tries to clinch but Pardo is having none of it. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Good standup being displayed there by Pardo as he connects with a hook. A left and a right from Pardo both land. Nice combination.
Duds is rocked! Pardo closes the distance and lands a one-two. Oh Duds is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Duds clinches up with Pardo and pushes him back against the cage. Pardo wants to break free but Duds has control.

It looks like Caio Pardo has been cut. A frustrated look appears on Pardo's face as he tries to break the clinch. Pardo scores with a nice hook to the head. A right hand to the body from Pardo.
A nice left hand lands by Pardo.
That's one minute gone in the round. Duds lands an elbow that stopped Pardo in his tracks for a moment. Duds looks to throw an elbow but misses. Duds seems to have got his legs back now. Pardo has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Pardo has a couple of punches blocked by Duds.
Duds lands a damaging elbow. Duds displaying some good clinch control by pressing Pardo up against the cage. Duds keeps control of Pardo as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Duds misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Pardo.
Pardo takes an elbow to the temple. Duds lands an elbow that stopped Pardo in his tracks for a moment.
That has opened up Caio Pardo's cut even more. Pardo throws a punch but it's blocked by Duds. Duds manages to break the clinch.
Duds showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Pardo.
Duds forces Pardo back against the cage and clinches. Duds dodges an elbow strike from Pardo.
Duds's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. A punch combination from Pardo misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Duds slips a jab and a cross from Pardo.
Duds closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Duds lands a nice elbow. Pardo pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. This has been an exciting period of action! Duds rushes Pardo and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Duds's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Pardo will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Duds moves into the clinch. Duds breaks from the clinch.
Duds really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Pardo swats away the attempt to clinch by Duds. Duds clinches up against the cage. Duds with an attempt at a knee that misses.
With the fighters up against the cage, Duds throws an elbow but misses. Duds slows down the pace here.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Pardo tries to work over Duds's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Duds slows down the pace here.

The cut above Caio Pardo's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Pardo tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Pardo has a couple of punches blocked by Duds.
Duds lands a damaging elbow. Duds lands an elbow just above Pardo 's eye. Duds lands an elbow inside that Pardo shrugs off.
Caio Pardo's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters. Duds with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Duds breaks from the clinch.
John Duds is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Pardo doesn't manage to clinch there - Duds circles away.
Pardo jabs Duds to the body, keeping him at a distance. Duds gets in close and instigates a clinch. A short uppercut from Duds. Duds creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Pardo's defenses. Pardo wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Duds has him pressed against the cage. Pardo struggles to land a body shot inside as Duds controls his hands.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Pardo tries to circle away but Duds has him pinned against the cage. Duds lands a damaging elbow.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Caio Pardo's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). John Duds!
