Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between MSgt. Francis Grover (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gregorio San Pedro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Francis Grover and Gregorio San Pedro. San Pedro has chosen Lucky Me nam-nam - Kanto Boys as his entrance music. Gregorio San Pedro will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, MSgt. Francis Grover! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 2 - 1, fighting out of London, Gregorio San Pedro! The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Konstantin Menshow and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Grover blocks a jab. Grover throws a half hearted mid kick. Grover motions for San Pedro to come forward. Grover throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. San Pedro throws a hook but Grover avoids it easily. Grover darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. San Pedro looks like he's trying to stand up.
Grover is nestled in close to San Pedro, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Grover stops San Pedro from getting back to his feet.
Grover is looking to take a break and control but San Pedro is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Grover prevents San Pedro from improving his position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. San Pedro is trying to control but can't.
San Pedro tries to roll over but Grover keeps him under control. Grover throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. San Pedro moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. San Pedro wants to stand but Grover is controlling the position. Grover works over San Pedro with some ground and pound from guard. San Pedro looking for a sweep. Not yet San Pedro, not yet. Grover with a flurry of punches that miss. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if San Pedro can do anything to dispel that myth.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Grover throws a strike but San Pedro rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. San Pedro stands over his opponent and dives in with a flying punch! Grover throws up his legs and catches San Pedro in a triangle! Oh this looks tight! San Pedro tries to escape but he's forced to tap! Wow, fantastic work there by Grover! That came out of nowhere!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). MSgt. Francis Grover! An out of breath MSgt. Francis Grover thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
