The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Gregory Folan and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Formsma throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Sigur's head.
It looks like Eysteinn H Sigur has been cut.
Sigur drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Sigur is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Formsma is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Sigur tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Sigur has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Sigur tries for a kimura but Formsma is defending well.
Sigur wants to lay and pray for a moment but Formsma keeps working.

Formsma stops Sigur from passing to mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Formsma is not content to let Sigur control the position.
Sigur advances to mount.
Formsma stops Sigur from taking his back. Still, being mounted isn't any better.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Sigur misses with a head shot.
Sigur looking for a guillotine from mount but Formsma is having none of it.
Sigur looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Sigur looking to isolate an arm here. Formsma doesn't see it coming and as Sigur extends the arm, he's forced to tap out! Nice submission by Sigur!
