And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Robert Douchet and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Machado's jab looks to have found its range, popping Alvarado under the eye.
Machado smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
It looks like Drew Alvarado has been cut.
Alvarado blocks a jab.
Machado's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Alvarado connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Machado scrambles back to his feet.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Machado looks to score with a jab to the body but Alvarado is just out of range.
Alvarado swinging wildly here.
Machado tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Alvarado was well out of range. Poor timing from Machado.
Alvarado fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Machado has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Alvarado throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Machado ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Alvarado moves away.
Alvarado avoids the body shot from Machado.
Alvarado drops Machado with a beautiful combination! Machado stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Alvarado is looking for the KO!
Machado is rocked!
It looks like Armando Machado has been cut.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Alvarado.
Machado is still on wobbly legs! Can Alvarado finish him?
Machado looks gassed!
Alvarado with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
A solid leg kick lands there for Alvarado.
Machado loses concentration momentarily and Alvarado pounces with a three punch combo! Right, left, right! Machado crashes face first to the mat, out cold! Alvarado finishes this one with a fantastically precise combo! Great stuff.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Drew Alvarado!
