Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rene Soomer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Terror Beton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Rene Soomer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Terror Beton! The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Saam Ante and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Soomer lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. A punch combination from Soomer misses. Soomer lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Soomer avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Soomer wants to clinch and Beton counters with a nice double leg into half guard. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Beton in particular looking to stall. Soomer is trying to stand up here but Beton is controlling him well. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Beton seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Terror Beton hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Soomer misses with a two punch combination.
Beton dodges the punch combination from Soomer.
Soomer looks to land a combination but Beton avoids it well. Beton has taken the fight to the clinch.
Beton lands a hook that snaps the head of Soomer backwards. Beton escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Soomer misses with a series of wild punches.
Soomer rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Beton moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Soomer has taken the fight to the clinch.
Beton has clasped his hands together around Soomer's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. Beton is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. Beton's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Beton in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Soomer is letting Beton control him for a moment. Beton working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. Beton decides to take the fight back to the feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A combination from Soomer does no damage. Soomer wants to clinch. Soomer throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Beton shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Beton has gone for a leg lock! Soomer slips out almost immediately though and dives into Beton's guard. Soomer has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Soomer is breathing heavily. Beton bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Soomer's guard. Beton throws a big elbow that misses. Beton showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Beton throws a big elbow that misses. Beton in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Soomer is looking to stand up but Beton isn't so interested in that idea. Beton not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Terror Beton dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Beton has closed the distance and engaged Soomer in a clinch.
Soomer is trying to push Beton away but Beton has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Beton manages to break the clinch.
Soomer lands a really nice looking cross but Beton seems unphased.
Soomer avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Beton dodges the punch combination from Soomer.
Beton throws the kick towards the body but Soomer avoids it. Beton closes the distance and clinches. Beton tries for a takedown. No joy.

Soomer wants to break free but Beton has control.
Beton escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Soomer lunges at Beton with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Beton's hand. Soomer throws a one two combo.
That's one minute gone in the round. Soomer lands a two punch combo.
Beton is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Soomer's half guard. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Beton connects with a nice short shot to Soomer's temple. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Beton landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Beton perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Soomer pushes Beton off looking to stand but Beton dives back in and keeps control.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Beton is taking a breather. Soomer says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Terror Beton. Soomer fails to land with a series of punches.
A punch combination from Soomer misses. Soomer tries to clinch but Beton is having none of it. Beton shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Beton was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Beton controlling from mount. Beton has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Soomer takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Beton controlling the pace for now. Soomer is in a horrible position here. Beton smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Beton tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Soomer in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Beton controlling from the full mount. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Terror Beton showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Beton closes the distance and clinches. Beton turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Beton manages to end up in side control. You can see the frustration on Soomer's face as Beton controls the position. Soomer takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Beton has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Soomer lands a jab to the head.
Soomer stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Soomer wants it to stay on the feet. Soomer lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Decent striking displayed by Soomer there.

Beton fails to land with a series of punches.
Soomer is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Rene Soomer is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Beton shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Soomer counters with a lovely straight right hand! Soomer defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Beton. Rene Soomer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Terror Beton. Soomer swinging wildly here.
Rene Soomer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Soomer tries to keep at a distance but Beton has taken the fight into the clinch. Soomer wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Soomer has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Soomer fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Beton tries to throw a body punch but Soomer avoids it by throwing Beton back against the cage. Soomer wants to get back to striking at distance but Beton won't allow it.

Nice body punch from Soomer. Rene Soomer is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Soomer throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Rene Soomer is winning the standup battle so far. Soomer fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Soomer tries to bum rush Beton with a series of wild strikes but Beton uses good footwork to avoid the assault. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Beton decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Beton stands up from half guard. Beton looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Beton's corner is telling him to maintain position. Soomer wants to stand but Beton is controlling the position. Beton is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Terror Beton was stalling too much, according to the referee. Soomer throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Soomer tries to keep at a distance but Beton has taken the fight into the clinch. Beton prevents Soomer from breaking the clinch.

Soomer scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Soomer swinging wildly here.
Beton fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Soomer avoids it really well and circles away. Soomer fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Soomer moves out of range as Beton throws a body kick.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Beton shoots in for a double leg but Soomer sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Beton has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Rene Soomer has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Terror Beton is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Soomer swats away the attempt to clinch by Beton.
And that's the end of the fight! Terror Beton comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Beton winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
