Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jiguro Kamoko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Gambit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kamoko comes to the cage accompanied by Battle Without Honor. Gambit has chosen Dj Kool - Let Me Clear My Throat as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kamoko slips under a jab.
Gambit moves out of range as Kamoko strikes.

Gambit throws a looping overhand right but Kamoko ducks down to avoid it.

Good work by Gambit as he checks the leg kick.
Gambit swings for the body but Kamoko moves out of range.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Gambit working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Kamoko doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Kamoko manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Gambit is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Kamoko is aware though and is defending well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gambit wants to stand and escape but Kamoko is having none of it.

Kamoko drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Kamoko jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Kamoko has his foot on Gambit's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Gambit works his way back into a safe position though.
