Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between So Nasty (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pedrinho Matador (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, So Nasty!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 21 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Pedrinho Matador!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Paulo Santos and Edson Gomes.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nasty misses with a takedown

and Matador counters with a shoot takedown. Nasty fights it but they end up in guard.

Nasty looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Nasty working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Matador doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Matador manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Nasty wants to stand and escape but Matador is having none of it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Nasty is looking for a triangle here but Matador uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
You can see the frustration on Nasty's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Nasty is looking to regain half guard here but Matador keeps moving and retains side control.
Nasty is working hard here to advance position.

Nasty looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Nasty wants to get back to full guard.

Nasty has one foot on Matador's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
Nasty throws a series of punches but Matador avoids them all with ease.
Nasty gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Matador counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Nasty!

Nasty sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Nasty looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Nasty is looking to get back to full guard here but Matador has managed to pass to side control instead.
Nasty wants to get back to his feet.
Nasty tries to improve position but can't.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Matador gets to mount! Nasty was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.
Nasty tries to hold on but Matador pushes him away.
Nasty sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Nasty moves into full guard.
Matador looks gassed!

Nasty throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Nasty trying to keep a closed guard but Matador is proving a slippery customer.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

So Nasty dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.



Nasty gets a takedown into half guard.
Nasty passes to side control.

Nasty looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Nasty creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Matador sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Matador is letting Nasty control him for a moment.

Nasty is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Matador has escaped the position, nice work there.

Nasty has hold of Matador's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Matador tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Nasty cranks the arm and Matador screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Matador, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:35 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). So Nasty!
