PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Lieutenans Spasl (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Antonios Georgiadis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Spasl has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. The key to victory for Lieutenans Spasl has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Lieutenans Spasl!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Antonios Georgiadis!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Wagner Zegers and Daniel Blasius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spasl throws a sloppy head kick
and Georgiadis counters with a big head kick but Spasl shrugs it off.

and Georgiadis counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Georgiadis.
Georgiadis keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Spasl's efforts to push away.
Spasl wants to get back to striking at distance but Georgiadis won't allow it.
The referee is keeping an eye on Georgiadis - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Georgiadis escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Georgiadis bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Well Georgiadis has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
