Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Nate Dog!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Harry Potter!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Nard Betker and Patrick Alders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Potter bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Dog's head.


It looks like Nate Dog has been cut.

Dog drives through and clinches with Potter against the cage.
Potter displaying some good clinch control by pressing Dog up against the cage.
Dog is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Potter pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Potter is trying to break free.
Potter is looking to break free of the clinch but Dog has double underhooks.

Dog gets a trip takedown into half guard.
Potter desperately trying to maintain half guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Dog is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Dog frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Dog wants to control the pace but Potter is squirming around nicely.
Potter looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back!
Even with his hooks in, Dog manages to miss with strikes from the back.

Potter is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
Good control from Dog.

Potter tries to escape but Dog has the hooks in and won't let him break free.
Potter wants to control his opponent's hands but Dog gets his hands free.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Potter breaks Dog's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Potter tries to stand but Dog is controlling from the bottom.
Dog working a defensive guard here.
Dog looking to hit a scissor sweep but Potter is one step ahead there.
Dog looking to control.
Dog seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

Nate Dog has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Potter tests Dog's chin there with a solid looking shot.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Dog throws a body kick that misses.

Potter moves into the clinch.
Dog is looking for a takedown.

Dog manages to break the clinch.
Dog misses with a head kick.
Potter fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Dog avoids it really well and circles away.
Potter swats away the attempt to clinch by Dog.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Dog tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Potter swivels and escapes.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Nate Dog will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Nate Dog's cut.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


No luck for Potter with that takedown attempt.

Dog gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Potter wants to break free but Dog has control.
Potter stalls.
Dog trying to control the position but instead, Potter has worked for underhooks and has pushed Dog into the cage.
Potter prevents the takedown attempt.
Dog is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Potter jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Dog walks away with a smile on his face. Potter gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Nate Dog has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Harry Potter.

Potter keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Dog shoots for a double leg takedown but Potter sprawls well. He's pushed Dog's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Potter tries to clinch up.
Potter defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Dog.

Potter moves into the clinch.
Potter is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
Dog blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Dog is trying to drag Potter to the mat but Potter just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Potter tries for a takedown. No joy.

Dog fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Dog is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.

Potter has picked Dog up - he's going for a ride! Potter dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Potter is looking to stall here but Dog recovers full guard.
Dog lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Potter!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Potter wants to control but Dog is having none of it.
Potter blocking the ground and pound.

Dog has isolated one of Potter's arms. Potter looking to fight him off but Dog twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:48 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Nate Dog!
