Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Chris Carson! The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Franklyn Lucas and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Carson scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Spencer is not content to let Carson control the position. Spencer wants to get back to his feet. Carson is looking for a kimura but Spencer is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Carson to get the leverage. Carson stands up from half guard. Carson fails to land the takedown. Spencer moves into range and clinches up with Carson. Spencer manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Carson trying to control but Spencer is working from the bottom. Carson postures up.
Carson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Spencer. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Spencer working for a triangle but Carson defends it easily.

That's one minute gone in the round. Carson won't allow Spencer to get back to his feet. Carson working some strikes from top position. Carson would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Carson looking to pass the guard. Spencer pushes Carson off and scrambles back to his feet.
Spencer bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Carson tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Spencer wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Carson manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Spencer is looking to take a break and control but Carson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Spencer is breathing heavily. Spencer not doing much here.
Spencer seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Carson does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Carson can do anything to dispel that myth. Carson moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Spencer stands up from guard. Let's bang! Carson doesn't succeed with the takedown and Spencer counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Spencer. Spencer has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Carson is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Spencer breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Spencer misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Carson misses with a takedown and Spencer counters with a single leg into guard. Carson didn't expect that. Drew Spencer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chris Carson. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Spencer is working Carson over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Spencer stays in close to Carson's body and controls the position. Spencer gets to his feet. Carson looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Spencer throws a front kick that sends Carson stumbling back into the cage. Spencer forces Carson back against the cage and clinches. Spencer breaks the clinch.
Spencer closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Spencer lands in his opponent's guard. Spencer won't allow Carson to sweep him here. Spencer pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Carson is keeping the position for now. Spencer stopping the sweep attempt from Carson. Carson controls Spencer momentarily but Spencer frees himself.

Spencer wants to control from the top but Carson keeps moving. Carson looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Spencer has picked Carson up and slammed him! Carson can't keep hold of the triangle and Spencer manages to pass to side control! Carson is looking for a sweep.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Spencer is looking to clinch but Carson is avoiding it.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Spencer throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Carson doesn't succeed with the takedown and Spencer counters with a takedown into side control. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage! Carson tries to buck Spencer off but Spencer is having none of it. Spencer trying to control the action but Carson is working from the bottom. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Drew Spencer dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Carson drives through with a takedown into guard. Spencer looking to hit a scissor sweep but Carson is one step ahead there. Spencer might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Spencer has a closed guard, preventing Carson from standing up. Spencer looking to sweep here. No luck so far. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Spencer manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Carson is breathing heavily. Spencer controlling the pace for now. Spencer prevents Carson from getting the reversal.
That's one minute gone in the round. Drew Spencer overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Spencer punishing his opponent with strikes. Spencer wants to control the pace but Carson is squirming around nicely. Spencer tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Carson tries to lock up and control but Spencer gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Spencer trying to control but Carson is having none of it. The referee warns Carson that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Spencer punishing his opponent with strikes. Carson is looking to improve his position but Spencer isn't that keen on the idea. Spencer looking to control but Carson is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Spencer with a couple of short strikes. Carson is wriggling around trying to escape.
Carson is squirming around, avoiding Spencer's attempts to control the action. Spencer with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

Spencer scores with a takedown into Carson's guard. Spencer trying to control but Carson is working from the bottom. Carson wants to sweep but no luck. Spencer gets to his feet. Carson looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Carson fails with the takedown and Spencer counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Spencer working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Carson makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Carson. Spencer wants to control from the top but Carson keeps moving. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Carson throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Spencer is fighting to break Carson's control of his arms but Carson is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Drew Spencer dominated that second round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Carson tries for a takedown but Spencer circles away easily and Spencer counters with a nice double leg into guard. Carson wants to stand and escape but Spencer is having none of it. Carson looking to hit a scissor sweep but Spencer is one step ahead there. Carson is trying to control the position from the bottom.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Nice takedown defense from Carson. No joy for Spencer on that attempt. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Spencer is on top in guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Carson is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Spencer is looking to work some ground and pound but Carson has wrist control. Spencer won't allow Carson to get back to his feet. Spencer stands and throws Carson's legs to the side, diving into side control. Carson is trying to get back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Spencer stands up and we're back to a striking position. Spencer shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Carson pinned against the cage. Carson gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Drew Spencer. That's going to take a lot out of him. Carson fails to land with a series of punches.
Carson lands a nice shot that snaps Spencer's head back.
Spencer shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Carson as he jumps to the side. Carson lands with a nice combination. Spencer backs away looking to recover.

Spencer pulls guard effortlessly. Spencer seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Spencer pushes Carson off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Spencer shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Spencer stands up from mount. Strange move. Carson has his takedown stuffed and Spencer counters with a nice double leg into guard. Spencer wants to stand but Carson has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Carson is looking to stand up but Spencer isn't so interested in that idea. Carson is trying to keep Spencer in close.
Carson lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Spencer! Spencer is in a horrible position here. Carson smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Carson is in the full mount, landing strikes.
And that's the end of the fight! Drew Spencer showed his dominance in that final round. Well Spencer has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
