Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Blacker Bones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Van Der Weed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Paulsen Ambrosius and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bones pivots, looking for a leg kick but Weed is out of range and Bones settles back down.
Bones looks to land a combination but Weed avoids it well.
Weed misses with a wild combination.
Weed ducks under a wild hook from Bones.
Bones throws an off balance right hand
and Weed counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Weed stands up and waves to Bones to follow him.
Bones avoids the head kick by Weed.
Bones throws an overhand right that lands on Weed's shoulder, as Weed tries to avoid the shot.
Weed moves into the clinch.
Weed has had enough of the clinch but Bones keeps him there for the moment.

Bones lands a nice leg kick that just misses Weed's sensitive parts.

Weed tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Bones paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Weed moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Weed is looking to take a break and control but Bones is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Weed decides to stand back up. Weed steps back and let's Bones get back to his feet.

Blacker Bones is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Weed slips a jab from Bones.

Weed manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Bones on his heels. He'll look to pass Bones's guard now, I'm sure.
Weed trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Bones manages to land a sweep and now he's on top!
Weed striking off his back but it's not causing Bones any problems.
Bones got a little sloppy there for a moment and Weed has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Bones has managed to get both his arms back between Weed's legs - danger averted.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Weed has control of Bones's left arm, preventing Bones from doing any damage.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Bones keeps the fight on the outside.
Bones shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Weed eats them both and turns towards Bones to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

and Weed decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Bones's guard.
Bones keeping moving, preventing Weed from controlling successfully.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Van Der Weed hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Bones rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Weed moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Weed does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Bones throws the left hand but Weed avoids the punch easily.
Weed dodges the punch combination from Bones.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Weed avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Bones lands a two punch combo.
Weed looks to land a body kick but Bones moved away.
Bones rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Weed moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Weed takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Bones scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Weed is trying hard to land a takedown here. Bones sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Weed changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bones tries to avoid it but Weed manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bones to the ground. Bones escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Weed tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Bones swivels and escapes.

Blacker Bones is winning the standup battle so far.
Weed will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Weed uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Bones.
Bones throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Weed.

Weed has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Bones.

Weed lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Bones backwards.
Weed has clasped his hands together around Bones's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
Weed is looking to take a break and control but Bones is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Bones wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Blacker Bones.
I think Weed has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
