The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Corleone closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Corleone lands in his opponent's guard.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Corleone crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Silva - the referee stops the clock and Corleone gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Silva. Corleone manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Donk. Silva catches Corleone right on the button with a cross.
Corleone takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
A solid leg kick lands there for Silva.
Corleone throws a sloppy head kick and Silva moves out of range easily.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

That was a close round but I would say that Vito Corleone will probably get the nod.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Vito Corleone.
