The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Matti Vanhoillinen and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Simpson tries to sprawl but Chang drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Chang is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Chang is trying to control the action in half guard but Simpson is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Chang is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Simpson is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Simpson looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Chang is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Simpson is looking for a sweep. Chang is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Chang trying to control from half guard but Simpson is working away.

Chang has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Simpson is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Simpson is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Chang is staying active.
Chang with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Simpson defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Chang.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Chang can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Simpson is looking to escape.

Chang quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Chang but it's paid off an Simpson is forced to tap! Nice work by Chang.
