The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mcartura misses with a double jab.
Nice sprawl there from Mcartura as Ferrari shoots in. Ferrari fails in his attempt to clinch. Mcartura throws a right hand that Ferrari ducks under and follows up with a left that Ferrari also avoids with ease. Ferrari showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Mcartura.

Ferrari decides to pull guard. Ferrari keeping full guard, as Mcartura tries to pass. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Ferrari bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Mcartura's guard. Mcartura keeping moving, preventing Ferrari from controlling successfully. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Ferrari seems content to control from guard here.
