Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jon Arona (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dameon Machida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Arona comes to the cage accompanied by Knock you out!. Machida has chosen Brazilian Death as his entrance music. Dameon Machida told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Arona throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Machida slips under a jab.
Machida throws a head kick that misses.
Machida jabs Arona to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Arona misses with a few strikes there.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Machida.
Machida chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Arona tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Arona is breathing heavily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Machida pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Machida closes the distance and clinches.

Arona wants to get back to striking at distance but Machida won't allow it.
Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Machida obliges.

Machida breaks from the clinch.
Machida lands a high kick to the side of Arona's head that stuns him and send him tumbling down to the canvas! Machida dives into guard, looking to finish.
Arona is rocked!
It looks like Jon Arona has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Machida loads up on a big left hand. Arona felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Machida looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Arona can't hide his disappointment, as Machida celebrates the victory.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dameon Machida!
Dameon Machida decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
