Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Cecil Peabody and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wright stuffs the takedown.
Deps tries to clinch but Wright is having none of it.
Deps tries to close the distance and clinch but Wright swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Wright shoots for a takedown but Deps saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Deps stalks Wright and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Wright's face. Wright staggers backwards, shaken.
Wright throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Deps tries for a takedown but Wright circles away easily

and Wright decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Deps's guard.

Wright stands up from Deps's guard - Wright perhaps looking for a knockout.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Anderson Wright dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.



Wright throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Deps was covering up waiting for the punch and Wright finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Deps wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Wright manages to pass to side control.

Wright avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Anderson Wright has got the better of the ground game so far.

Wright wants to control from the top but Deps keeps moving.
Wright showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
Wright stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Deps swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Deps is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Wright's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Wright's back!

Deps throws a nice looking combination but Wright bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

A decent looking body kick lands there for Deps.
Wright dives in and grabs Deps's left leg, looking for a takedown. Deps pushes down on Wright's head and hops out.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
