Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Yuya Inoue (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ragnatus Carnophage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Inoue might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Viikate - Viina, terva & hauta. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
13 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Yuya Inoue! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Ragnatus Carnophage! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Steven Brown and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Inoue slips under a jab from Carnophage. Inoue looks for the body kick but Carnophage saw that one coming. Inoue throws a jab but it's blocked by Carnophage. Inoue misses with a straight left. Inoue ducks under a wild hook from Carnophage. Carnophage on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Inoue. Inoue obviously looking to wear him down.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Inoue. Carnophage shrugs it off though. Inoue cracks the inside of Carnophage's front leg. Carnophage moves out of range of the body kick from Inoue.
Inoue throws a nice outside leg kick. Carnophage uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Inoue fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Carnophage manages to avoid it. A decent looking body kick lands there for Inoue. This has been an exciting period of action! Carnophage getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Inoue scores with a jab. Inoue throws a sloppy head kick and Carnophage moves out of range easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Inoue throws a leg kick but Carnophage moved away. Inoue throws out a loose jab but Carnophage uses good head movement to avoid it. Carnophage steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Inoue. Carnophage lands a jab to Inoue's midsection. Inoue lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Inoue gets a double leg takedown into Carnophage's guard. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Carnophage is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Inoue wants to pass the guard but Carnophage is keeping the position. Carnophage working a defensive guard but Inoue manages to pass into side control anyway.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Inoue is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Carnophage has escaped the position, nice work there. Carnophage can't do much from the bottom here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Inoue is trying to get an arm triangle but Carnophage is defending well. Inoue is trying to get an arm triangle but Carnophage is defending well. Inoue prevents Carnophage from escaping the position. Carnophage gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! Inoue looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Carnophage has given up his back. Will we see Inoue going for some submissions?
Inoue is working on the RNC. He looks like he's got it but Carnophage won't tap... Oh, he's out! The ref rips Inoue off his unconscious opponent!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Yuya Inoue! Yuya Inoue decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
