The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Daniel Bishop and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kuuharja shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Edward's guard.

Edward wants to get back to his feet but Kuuharja is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Kuuharja wants to control from the top but Edward keeps moving.
Kuuharja is looking to work some ground and pound but Edward has wrist control.
Edward wants to stand but Kuuharja is controlling the position.

Kuuharja throws an elbow that misses. Edward uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Kuuharja's guard. Nice move by Edward!

OK we're going to have a standup here. Juri Kuuharja hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Edward uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Kuuharja.

Kuuharja shoots in looking for a takedown but Edward manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Kuuharja's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Ryan Edward seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Edward throws a right hand that Kuuharja ducks under and follows up with a left that Kuuharja also avoids with ease.
Edward throws a quick inside leg kick.

Edward lunges at Kuuharja with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Kuuharja's hand.
Edward on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

Edward avoids a punch combination nicely.

Edward moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Edward lands a big head kick that sends Kuuharja tumbling to the mat! Edward takes a step backwards and waves Kuuharja back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Kuuharja is rocked!
It looks like Juri Kuuharja has been cut.
Edward closes the distance and lands a brutal uppercut that knocks Kuuharja out! We're looking at the replay now - he was out before he hit the floor!

After the fight, Ryan Edward was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
